La Costa Brava, or ‘wild coast’, located in the top corner of the region of Catalonia, holds a record number of European Blue Flags beaches along its placid shoreline.

The Exceptional Costa Brava

Explore these coastal towns that remain largely-undiscovered and pure, away from the masses brought by tourism and urban development.

Although most of our properties at Emporda Villas are located inland you’ll still be ideally placed to enjoy the Costa Brava. From secluded coves and bays to wide sandy stretches of beach, the diversity of the Costa Brava has a lot to offer.

The Alt Empordà region of the Costa Brava is a far cry from our neighbours further down the Coast where eggs & chips is the main feature on menus. You’ll find a wonderful choice of restaurants serving excellent food.

The Empordà region is high on the list for foodies from all over, and has one of the highest concentrations of Michelin-starred chefs in Spain, not to mention superb, locally produced wines.

Exceptional Weather

For sun-seekers, the weather is ideal from as early as april right through to October, and if you dream of walking along a deserted beach or through wild countryside in short sleeves on Christmas day, the Costa Brava is a must.

Everyone knows the Costa Brava for its famous Blue Flag beaches, but if all you want is to enjoy the spectacular surroundings there is plenty to do with exceptional countryside for hiking, biking or running.

Health & Spa addicts will enjoy our on-site Sport & Spa facilities with something for all the family.

Quality Golf on the Costa Brava

At Empordà Villas we love golfers and offer all our guests a discount for green fees at Torremirona Golf Course. With world class Golf Courses including the PGA Catalunya, Empordà Golf Club and Golf de Pals within easy reach of Torremirona Resort why not plan your next golf trip with us.

Beyond fine dining, beautiful beaches and sport, there’s art, history and outdoor activities aplenty. This is Dalí country and three excellent museums – including the painter’s home at Cadaqués – are devoted to him.

The Costa Brava is also home to some of the most scenic and important Greco/Roman and Iberian archaeological sites in Europe including the Roman Ruins of Empúries.
